Begin by Focusing on Your Physical Body

One of the simplest ways to get back your inner joy and build positive momentum in your life is to begin by focusing on your physical body.

More often than not, individuals who haven’t been tuned into their physical body are prone to experience symptoms like fatigue, excess weight, and low stamina. They’ve lost the energy needed to try new things. They’ve lost the energy needed to motivate themselves. Over time, this lack of energy creates a low vibrational state in the body (and the mind and spirit)!

We are all energetic, vibrational beings; so if you have low energy, you’re vibing low. If you have abundant energy, you’re vibing high. And if you want to find yourself and that inner joy, you’ve got to increase your vibration so you have the energy to do so!

Focusing on the physical body is what sets the foundation to make it happen. As you begin to reignite your physiology and biochemistry in the physical body, you create the energy production you need to move forward.
Before I dive into the details of what this looks like, I want to take a moment to talk about your driving force for making the shift from feeling lost to feeling joyfrul and moving forward.

If you’re making this decision from a place of lack/fear/hate/punishment for yourself, your results and progress (if any), will be short-lived.

In order to TRULY tap into your joy and move your life forward, you need to be deeply connected to your WHY. You need to be making these choices because you love yourself and you want to improve your life.

So take a quick moment and place your hand over your heart. Take a deep breath. Ask yourself: are you honestly reading this blog because you’re ready to finally move your life forward in a positive direction? Or are you hoping for some sort of quick fix, short-lived solution?

If your heart says it’s ready for the real and lasting change, then continue on, my dear friend!

How to Increase the Vibration of the Physical Body

The two main areas to focus on to increase the vibration of the physical body are nourishment and movement. The physical body needs to be nourished with high-vibe, medicinal foods, and it needs to be moved in a way that is pleasing to you. For now, let’s break these two areas down simply. (We’ll have more in-depth posts to come on both of these topics.)

First, let’s talk about nourishment.

In order to nourish your body, you need to be eating healthy, high-vibe foods. These are foods with lots of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients (aka antioxidants). It’s food that is free of harmful chemicals, hormones and antibiotics. It means eating foods that are as close to how nature produced them as possible! These are the foods that are going to produce abundant energy for your body and detoxify your body of pollutants.

Nourishing your body with medicinal food is a key entry point to reigniting your joy and your positive momentum. Because again, the goal is to increase your energy and raise your body’s vibration so you can move forward!

How do you have success implementing this? How do you successfully nourish yourself to move forward?

The biggest keys to success are starting small, staying consistent, and building in more and more nourishment as you go.

If you try to overhaul your entire nutritional intake overnight, you may be setting yourself up for failure. Most research has shown that the best way to have long-term success with changing habits is to start by making small, sustainable changes that you can stay consistent with. Keeping these changes simple so you can keep up with them is of the utmost importance.

So what would that look like from a nourishment perspective?

Depends on where you’re at.

Let me give you an example to help you understand.

Let’s say right now you’re eating a pretty fast-food/take-out food heavy diet. You rarely cook from home, and most of your food is conventionally grown and raised (which means it contains toxins like pesticides, herbicides, hormones and antibiotics).

If that’s the case, starting small for you might be to start cooking dinner 1-2 nights a week. And it would be starting with easy, simple recipes that are healthier choices than what you’d normally be ordering for take out.

After you master this skill over a few weeks, then you build from there. That could be moving toward cooking 3 or 4 nights a week, or starting to prepare a few lunches for yourself each week, or getting healthier breakfasts to start your day.

Taking one small step forward and working that step until it’s mastered is a key to success, no matter where you’re getting started. Once you’ve gotten it down for a few weeks (I usually recommend 2-4 weeks), then add in some more nourishment to your dietary routine.

Remember, start small, stay consistent, and build from there so you can tap into the joy of your progress and keep it moving forward!

Joyful Movement

Secondly, I want to talk about finding joyful movement to introduce into your routine.

Your body literally enhances its ability to make more energy the more you move. This is what propels you forward and increases your vitality and life force!

And the more energy you’re creating in your body, the more you’re raising your vibration. This means you can get find yourself again and get back on track to reaching your goals and dreams!

So why do I say JOYFUL movement?

Because choosing movement you ENJOY is always going to be the higher-vibe choice, producing more energy in your body.

If you’ve been feeling lost or disconnected from yourself for awhile now, you may not know what feels good from a movement perspective. And that’s okay! Part of the fun is finding what JOYFUL movement feels like for you. (And remember, we’re reconnecting you to your inner joy in this process!)

This can be done simply. Don’t overthink it. Try some NEW movement, like trying out a class at the gym you’ve never tried before, or think back to when you were younger and re-engage with some movements you enjoyed in the past.

When I work with clients, I see all sorts of variety when it comes to joyful movement. Here are a few ideas to help get your creative, joyful movement juices flowing:

  • Walking,
  • Hiking,
  • Running,
  • Yoga,
  • Pilates,
  • HIIT,
  • Cycling,
  • Rock Climbing,
  • Cross-Fit,
  • Tennis,
  • Swimming,
  • Basketball,
  • Soccer,
  • Dancing,
  • Barre,
  • Zumba,
  • Tai Chi,
  • Qi Gong,
  • Jiu Jitsu,
  • Jumping Rope,
  • Rowing,
  • Rebounding,
  • and SO MANY MORE!!

There are so many different activities to try when you’re looking for something new. As long as you are having a good time while you’re moving, you can check the box of joyful movement!

And, like I discussed with nourishing your body, start small, stay consistent, and then build upon your joyful movements.

I recommend starting with even just 10 minutes a day.

One of the things I’ve found most successful in making this a new habit is choosing the same time every day, putting it into your calendar, and making it non-negotiable. (I’ve also seen that those who put this in the beginning of the day experience the greatest likelihood of success.)

Once you master your movement practice each day, start to increase the duration of time after a few weeks, and keep building from there!

Joyful movement is all about increasing the energy production within your body through movement. While everyone’s goals will be different, if you can work up to include joyful movement as part of your routine 4 days a week for 45+ minutes, you’re making a huge step to raise your vibration and get yourself moving toward your goals again!

Paying attention to and increasing your nourishment and movement sets a healthy foundation to open you up energetically. It creates energy in your body by reigniting your biochemistry and physiology. It gives you the energy and vitality to start moving forward in life again! By focusing on setting a healthy foundation with your body, you’ll feel growth and expansion in your life. You’ll be able to work toward your goals and pursue the life of your dreams!

Find Your Joy and Kick off your Ascension Journey

When the body gets addicted to the same low-vibe foods and the same low-vibe activities, you’re going to be stuck in a low-vibe place. You won’t have the energy to accomplish the goals you have for yourself.

If you’re feeling stuck in a rut and you’ve lost your connection with yourself, make a commitment right now to YOU! Vow to focus on increasing the vibration of your physical body. It doesn’t have to be a huge change. Vow to take one small step forward.

Remember, the key here is consistency.

Quick and easy daily habits you can build upon are the keys to success. If you aren’t eating a healthy, high-vibe diet right now, start with making one small change like adding in one new healthy meal a week. Or opt for a simple smoothie to start your day.

If you aren’t moving your body, consider moving for just 10 minutes each morning. Go for a brisk walk around the block, or even do some light stretching at home. Start somewhere with something you enjoy, and build from there!

When you master your new practice, choose another one. Each time you achieve progress with new practices, you’ll be increasing your vibration and building momentum to keep progressing forward!

It can feel challenging to break the cycles you’ve been in that have been keeping you feeling lost and disconnected from yourself, but IT IS POSSIBLE to break free.

Focus on setting a healthy foundation with your physical body. It’s the key to getting you tapped back into your joy and for creating a greater abundance of energy. The body is the foundation you need to build your dream life.

It’s also the beginning of the Ascension Journey, where you raise your level of consciousness and experience higher vibrational emotions like joy, peace, bliss, compassion and love, more easily and more frequently.

In order to be able to share your magic with the world, you need to fully inhabit your own life and connect to this highest version of you.  And you must have the energetic foundation set in the physical body to do so.

Hopefully, this post inspired you to take the first step so you can make your dream life a reality!

If you want guidance and support on the journey to fully inhabit your own life so you can share your gifts with the world, let a sister know! I’m always honored to support and guide you on your path to growth and ascension.
